Directions + Parking
Rideshare is a must!
It is highly suggested that participants use rideshare services or arrange carpooling to attend the event! Here’s the best way:

(pinch to zoom)

2000 Lyons Ave, Houston, TX 77020

Street Closure Alert!
Area parking will be highly limited due to multiple Thanksgiving events happening in the downtown area simultaneously. Ridesharing will help ensure a smoother experience for everyone. Street parking is extremely scarce, so opting for a rideshare or car service can help you avoid unnecessary delays and frustration.
To make your arrival even easier, please refer to the drop-off approach map above.
The East/West Section of Lyons Ave will close at 6am, after that, this stretch of roadway will be closed until 11am!
Suggested Parking in Partnership with University of Houston Downtown:

Be aware that searching for parking will likely cause delays, potentially leading to a missed start time. Our advice: avoid this option.
We have arranged courtesy parking at the UH-DOWNTOWN DALY LOT! (see map above) Approach from NORTH MAIN as South Main will be closed during the event!
Please note: missing the Starting Line due to parking issues, traffic, or local road closures does not qualify for a refund.

Meet CoolxDad!
Thank you!
The Turkey Trot Presented by Saint Arnold Brewing Company event is supporting the Houston-based CoolxDad 501(c)3 organization!
Thanks to your support through registrations and donations, we have surpassed our original goal of financial support to CoolxDad, and this is only the beginning!
More than 18.3 million children live in a home without the physical presence of a father. 50% of that number is made up of African Americans and Latinx descent. Millions more have dads who are physically present but emotionally absent. If it were classified as a disease, fatherless would be an epidemic worthy of attention as a national emergency.
CoolxDad’s mission is to aid and uplift all fathers of color who are striving to build a better world for their children and serve their communities.
